Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in the Washington, DC area. This full-time contract position offers a meaningful role in delivering speech and language services within a school setting, focusing primarily on elementary and middle school students.
Location & Schedule:
- Based in Woodbridge, VA, within close proximity to Washington, DC.
- Full-time (37.5 hours per week) with part-time options available (minimum 20 hours per week).
- Contract duration through the current school year, ending May 29, 2026.
- Onsite presence required; this role is not remote or hybrid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students, servicing a caseload generally capped at 50-55 students.
- Serve up to two schools, ensuring tailored support that meets each schools unique needs.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to facilitate student progress in communication skills.
- Supervision support available for Clinical Fellows (CF); Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) applications are welcome for consideration.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Virginia SLP licensure required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CF candidates will be considered under supervision.
- Experience with school-aged children is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong commitment to improving student outcomes and working collaboratively in educational environments.
